Who are the Skepticrats?

The Skepticrats are Deuce Geary and McLovin’ — pseudonyms for two guys who wish they did not have to use them. Deuce feels compelled to blog anonymously because he is in a profession he perceives as heavily dominated by liberals, and he doesn’t want his political views to cost him business. McLovin’ remains anonymous for similar reasons, though he is in a different profession.

We’re both Christians, husbands, fathers and Marine Corps veterans.

We’re both tired of talk radio apologetics for Republicans and Mainstream Media cheerleading for Democrats.

We’ve both voted for a black man in the presidential primaries, but it wasn’t Barack Obama, and it wasn’t in 2008. We’re both prepared to vote for a woman for president, but Maggie Thatcher isn’t eligible.

We both own tons of books on politics and philosophy, but McLovin has actually read his.
