There’s a lot of conservative talk radio I don’t like. Savage, Hannity and Rush do not get much of my listening time. Dennis Prager and Mark Levin get most of my ear. Pretty wussy for a guy whose fund-raising website URL is “congressmanwithguts.com.” But about as wussy as you would expect from a guy who claims to have guts but shows a video of himself appearing on a friendly show like Countdown. var addthis_pub = ‘deucegeary’; Ace posted about how Mika Brezinksy not only dutifully spun the White House line immediately upon receiving an email correction, but went above and beyond the call of duty by “absolving the White House from any bad behavior regarding Fox News at all.” Watch, then keep reading: “A very calm and understated manner.” Cover of A Guide for the Married Man Theblogprof has some fun ridiculing the MSM for being taken in by the real fake protesters (or is it the fake real protesters?) at the healthcare townhalls. (Trust me, neither “real fake” nor “fake real” is an oxymoron in this case.) Stacy McCain’s Rule 5 standard, Christina Hendricks — who plays bombshell secretary Joan Holloway on Mad Men — makes the following disclosure in the August 2009 Redbook magazine: Doctor Zero at HotAir’s Greenroom (later promoted to the front page) hits the nail on the head with this comment on Peggy Noonan’s piece about Sarah Palin in Friday’s WSJ: So, you’ve probably heard about Jack Cafferty questioning Alec Baldwin’s qualifications for public office. I’m not sure I’d support a presidential run, and I worry that she was too gravely wounded in the 2008 election to recover, especially in time for 2012. (Hat tip: American Power) To my great disappointment, the coverage of Michael Jackson’s life and death has been as all-consuming on Fox News as it has been on the other news channels. One reporter referred to him as “Michael” this morning. That’s probably been rather common, but I haven’t kept the TV tuned there long enough to know. Maybe I’ve been remiss in not following the whole Letterman-Palin flap. Maybe it didn’t interest me too much because — without knowing the details of what happened, admittedly — I was afraid conservative commentators were making too big a deal out of it. If the caption accompanying the below photo in our newspaper is any indication, it is because journalists reporting on environmental issues are wearing a pemanent pair of beer goggles, finding beauty where there is none. Rush opposes President Obama’s [...] Ed Morrissey apparently finds it dishonest for Democrats to lambaste Rush Limbaugh over his comment that a health care bill would be named after Ted Kennedy, since they themselves suggested it less than two months ago. But what did Rush actually say? Here it is, with my emphasis: Before it’s all over, it’ll be called the [...] I was caught by surprise by MSNBC’s blunt headline on its article concerning Nancy Pelosi’s audience with Pope Benedict: Pope to Pelosi: Catholics cannot back abortion. But something in the first paragraph of the article really caught my eye.
