Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination to the Supreme Court has already had a big impact on minorities, including the long-oppressed fly-eating amphibian community.

(Follow the link. It’s funny, even though I think my side of the blogosphere is making too big a deal out of that particular remark and should be concentrating on the substance of her jurisprudence.)

I agree that this comment isn't that big a deal but it would be fun to ask her to clarify the rankings of different sexes/ethnicities: sure a Latina beats a white man, but what about an Asian man? Does a native american man trump a Latina or do they tie? It would really help if she could just produce a ranked list of all the different sex/race combinations. After all, if we want the best decisions we need to know who's at the top of the list so that we can choose our justice wisely.
