More dishonesty on illegal immigration

Michelle Malkin has video of Geraldo Rivera addressing some group, complaining that ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is wasting manpower on workplace raids when it should be going after gangs.  He poses the issue as a matter of priorities, but I think that’s dishonest.

Let’s assume that we had rounded up all the gangbanger and violent felon illegal immigrants.  All that’s left are folks who have been otherwise law-abiding since they crossed the border illegally or remained past the expiration of their visas.

Rivera, and others like him, would still object to workplace raids even if they were targeted at the last illegal immigrants in America.

This isn’t about priorities.  Rivera doesn’t want the raids to happen. Period.  He wants an amnesty for the illegals that are here, a bogus promise of reform, and then another amnesty in another 20 years, repeating exactly what happened with the last immigration reform in the 80s.

If you want to open borders, just say so, Rivera.
