Another favorite was the feminine napkin with bat-shaped wings, but this is for personal reasons. Believe it or not, I was a foreman on a panty shield assembly line for a year. Another department in the same factory made maxi pads, some with the “wings” feature. This was around the time the first Batman movie came out (around 20 years ago), and we referred to the wings as “bat wings” within the factory.
