I don’t mean they can’t tell a joke. I mean that it’s not funny that there are poor people. Even in a country with the richest poor people on earth. Today is the 64th anniversary of the Allied invasion of occupied Europe, the most famous “D-Day” of them all. The heroism of these men remains inspiring. The evil they fought was horrifying. It is a day worth remembering. |
